Thursday Musical performers featured
in Sigma Alpha Iota Concert on May 6
Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity will present a concert on
May 6, 3:00 PM, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Avenue. Free and open to the public.
Thursday Musical performers include Dolores Lenore, piano, Judy Ranheim, flute, Mimi Tung, piano, Marian Hoffman, soprano, Julie Himmelstrup, piano, Thelma Hunter, piano, Shirley Santoro, violin and Michael Santoro, piano. Two premieres are included in the program.
Pianist Gail Olszewski will be appearing with Ladyslipper (Asako Hirabayashi, harpsichord; Sahar Hassan, soprano; Margaret Humphrey, violin) on Wednesday, May 9, 12:00 Noon in a program of works by Mozart, Schubert and Hirabayashi. University Club of St. Paul,

The Vecchione/Erdahl Duo start their 2012 Arts Tour MN project with recitals and educational programs at Great Rivers Regional Library branches in Big Lake (May 2) and Waite Park (May 24), and a Sheldon at Fairview recital in Red Wing (May 17). Their MRAC Arts Learning programs for seniors continue at Village Shores, Richfield (May 2), Summit Place, Eden Prairie (May 4), Ebenezer Loren on Park, Minneapolis (May 10), Lakeville Senior Center (May 11), Parkshore, St. Louis Park (May 15), Pres. Homes of Bloomington, Commons (May 18), Timber Hills, Inver Grove Heights (May 21), The Kenwood, Minneapolis (May 25), Pres. Homes of Bloomington, Ridgeview Terrace (May 29), and Mt. Olivet Day Services, Minneapolis (May 30). Most of these programs are free and open to the public. They host Minnesota Orchestra Principal Flute, Adam Kuenzel in recital at the Lakeville Area Arts Center, Sun., May 13 at 2:00 PM, $12 adults, $10 seniors and students.
